Okay, so this post ain't about ethnic food, but hey, wine is part of eating out too. So last weekend, when I popped into Pop Brixton, I happened upon this lovely little wine shop called New Zealand Wine Cellar.
After a long day out walking around South London, I decided that I definitely deserved some of that.
There were lots of choices, but I was a slightly bound by my limited budget of £5.30 as they only take cash payments. But that bought me a very generous glass of rose.
You can buy wine by the glass and stick around for a while, or buy wine by the bottle and take it home. There is a bit of seating space inside the container which is filled to the brim with wine racks. Yes, the shop is located in a container as this is Pop Brixton after all.
I sat outside at the communal table and watched tout Brixton walk by. The wine was of course delicious, as you would expect from a kiwi wine. Next time I will just have to bring more cash and I will try some more.
Check them out online or at Pop Brixton.
My favourite wine is New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. This sounds like a cool wine bar :)
ReplyDeleteOh that is my favourite as well. I was blown away the first time I had one. And yes, this is a very cool place. Check them out!
DeleteI'm really not a wine drinker but this looks & sounds like a lovely little place!

That's a shame, but there are lots of other spots at Pop Brixton you would love as a non wine lover. I am sure.
